Half day ah?
This past week, I've not really had to work much because we were shifting offices and my colleagues told me that we could come in around lunchtime!
Wednesday, we could knock off at noon, after our computers were packed away. I had an afternoon interview so technically I still worked. Though before and after that I went shopping in town.
Thursday, colleague had told me to come in after lunch. So I did. Our computer systems weren't set up yet, so a bunch of us went to Ikea to get stuff to help spruce up our spartan office spaces.
Friday (yesterday), again, got in at lunchtime. Was quite productive though. Finished up some simple writeups due next week. Easy peasy. Made more arrangements for photoshoots, and thanks to EQ, found a girl for my story. Then I tagged along with Sasha for a Wyndham Estate wine-tasting at 5pm.
I don't really appreciate wines and I'm not good at differentiating them, and I lack the lingo. I just know I don't like them too acidic, tannic, dry or spicy. Basically I'm a sweet wine person, very plebeian. I normally like merlots coz they're easy to drink, but surprisingly, I didn't really like the merlot (2002) or cab-merlot. I really liked the Bin 222 chardonnay 2004 (sweet, with lingering fruity flavour) and the Bin 555 Shiraz 2002 (very smooth, but didn't have the lingering flavours of the others we tried).
